What to see

Your journey begins in Bari, the capital of Puglia, between history, folklore and shopping. Impossible not to be hypnotized by the Basilica of San Nicola in the old city, embraced by picturesque alleys. You will discover the three main theaters of the city: the Piccinni, first by construction, the Petruzzelli, first by importance, and the Margherita built on the sea. We recommend a walk in the Murat district, discovering noble mansions recovered to make room for commercial activities.

Going north, stop in Trani, "the pearl of the Adriatic", famous for the Romanesque Cathedral dedicated to San Nicola Pellegrino and the Swabian Castle built in 1233 under the reign of Frederick II. It is included in the list of "Italian wonders" and it will be wonderful to enjoy the view of the ancient port and stroll through the lively old town. Nearby La Perla del Doge, Giovinazzo is the ideal setting for an enviable wedding book, with its charming port, evocative even in the evening, the historic Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II with the Tritoni fountain and the church of San Domenico.

Finally, Molfetta will steal your heart with its direct contact with the sea. The Cathedral of San Corrado is located right on the harbor and is enchanting by every shot. Here, on the quay of San Domenico, old and new meet to satisfy the most demanding visitors.
